Revisions on SOMETHING SWEETER (Jesse Wilder’s book) are done! Now deep into a new project (which I will announce soon) and I need your help for a scene I’m working on.
If this guy showed up at your door, what kind of dinner would you cook to impress him? Not talking surf and turf, something more on the comfort food level.
Let’s make this a contest! Winner will receive a Sweet, Texas coffee mug and Anything But Sweet candy conversation hearts. Deadline is Friday, October 25 6:00 pm (MST). As always, this contest is open to my international readers.

Candis! I am so excited for your new book. I am waiting (not patiently!) for the next Sweet book. Naturally, I would make a romantic Italian dinner, complete with spaghetti and some Chianti. ๐ Chocolate cake is a must, of course. ๐ What’s better than Italian by candlelight?!
Well I’m a country girl so I’d have to say full fledged country comfort food! Fried chicken, homemade buttermilk biscuits and gravy! ๐
I’m so excited for Something Sweeter!!!! :))
can’t wait for this book to come out… my comfort food is a pot roast with real mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, and gravy, carrots in the roast…YUM!!!! ๐
Being the good Italian girl my Nonna is proud of…baked ziti Can’t wait for the next Sweet book!!
homemade baked macaroni and cheese with onions green peppers and tomatos with warm bread and butter –
apple pie and ice cream for dessert
My comfort food would be pork chops on orange rice, smothered in cream sauce. I can’t wait for the next Sweet book.
My favorite dinner meal is a good salad, steak, baked potato, corn and good dessert like chocolate cake with ice cream. I am looking forward to your next book.
Wow! You guys are coming up with some great ideas. And you’re making me hungry!
Congrats to my “What’s for Dinner?” Giveaway winners Jackie and Kimberly Kincaid with their suggestions of spaghetti.
I was only going to have one winner but after picking one randomly and then seeing a second with the same suggestion I figured it was only fair.
Ladies, please send your mailing addresses to me at candis.terry@yahoo.com so I can get your prizes in the mail to you asap! And thanks for leaving a comment!
