Christmas Movies That Ring Your Bell — Giveaway!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! The one where I go a little crazy in the head and decorate everything. Even the bathroom! I currently put up three trees (not all seven footers though) and each is very different. The one in our family room bears ornaments from over the years, even some from my very first Christmas! Pretty darned old. The tree in my dining room is sweet oriented and displays candy, cupcakes, lollipops, and a gingerbread man chef oversees all the activity. The third tree goes in my office. Of course, it’s a book themed tree.

I can’t help myself, I just love Christmas. It brings back the warm memories from my youth, gives me a chance to to things that will put smiles on the faces of my family, and it provides me an opportunity to enjoy some special time and create wonderful memories my daughter and granddaughter will hopefully cherish for the rest of their lives.

Christmas movies are a huge part of what brings me the holiday cheer. I remember sitting on the sofa with my dad and watching White Christmas and my dad singing along with Bing. My dad died when I was eleven years old, so for me that memory is extra special. On the other end of the spectrum, Christmas Vacation is another favorite. It’s crazy and makes me laugh and for some reason I can totally relate to poor Clark Griswold
